Party Pirates

A party game, pirate ship, battle royal. Grab some friends, get your pirate ships, gather around the TV and battle each other to the death! 

Challenged to make a party game that uses phone hardware capabilities. We decided to dive into the deep blue and make a pirate ship battle royal. Where you control your ship and canons with the gyroscope on your phone.

Install instructions

  1. Download
  2. Unzip (Party_Pirates_Main)

Host:

*If users are joining that aren't on the same network as host, the host will need to port forward.

  1. Open "Party Pirates.exe"
  2. Click "Host Server"
  3. Allow through firewall

Players:

  1. Download "Party Pirates - Android.apk" on your mobile device
  2. Install APK
  3. Click "Find Party"
  4. (Local Network) Click "Find Server" and refresh a few times, until server IP appears
  5. (Online) Click "Direct connect", type in hosts IP, then connect

*If the  local network doesn't appear in server list try direct connect and use the IP.
